Just a note, I’m back in the States

As the title states, I’m back in the States. As for Beijing, I have nearly nothing but bad things to say, and nearly nothing but good things to say about Hong Kong. However, I’m terribly jet lagged (it’s like 6 AM; I’ve been awake since 4 PM yesterday and I can’t think of anything other than eating pancakes), so I’ll write out the cliff notes version and expand on it later.

If you’re thinking about visiting Beijing, don’t. It’s terribly polluted and jam packed with the rudest/most disgusting people you’ll ever meet. If you’re thinking about visiting Hong Kong (and perhaps Macau for a few days), by all means, go ahead. It’s clean, the food is good, the people are friendly, and the mass transportation system is probably the best in the world.
